Week of June 23-30, 2008: The Decisive Factor As probably the most astrologically stressed and developmentally pregnant week of June, this could be a week to remember. When I say that, it is because we seem to remember only the “negative” episodes of our lives. But yet again, things ultimately are experienced to us as we will accept them; it is a psychological predisposition that determines whether any experience is either “good” or “bad”. For day by day detail on this week astrologically go here.... For those with an evolutionary view (which I subscribe to), everything is seen as an attempt by the universe to move us along a prescribed path of spiritual success and victory. When it is all said and done, we can’t take our baubles and trinkets with us; but if we work to develop it we can take with us to eternal life a refined soul consciousness that is the key to all things. When you have spiritual success, you have it all. So as Jupiter comes up to a minor hard aspect to Saturn on Thursday, June 26; the fire and enthusiasm that Jupiter contains will experience the “cold water” effect of the latter. Success is only real success when you hold onto it through the hurricane, and realize that success is not so much a feeling, but a pattern of thinking engrained in the psyche. Feelings come and go, and are fickle and capricious; but making money in a business, writing a book, or successfully leading a group through a project is a hard, hard, hard thing to do. The Journey of Success Every kind of negative thought or feeling will attempt to assail you in your journey to your cherished project or goal; but it is really the force that Saturn represents endeavoring to make your noble thoughts and feelings objectively real and truly legitimate. In this way problems are our friends; and believe me I have met a good amount of “friends” along the way of my online business.
When you overcome a problem, you become more empowered. A lot of people I know, even To me the “battle” is “won” by rising above and beyond it; if I neutralize all fear and anxiety in my psyche nothing can unhorse me and I can accomplish anything I set my mind to in perfect aplomb. It is not won by willpower alone, but the decisive factor is being able to enter into a state of mind not unlike that which Buddha did under the bo tree just prior to his entering into nirvana. He was unmoved in the face of all illusory images projected against him by Mara (the Devil), and then with a wave of his hand (actually touching the earth) he scattered Mara’s forces to the four corners of the universe. Click here for more info on Buddha and Mara. We Don't "Do" Anything It’s the quiet ones who get things done, not those with all affected drama and ceremony. To me I think the most they accomplish is get attention to their selves. As I think of it the key to overcoming difficult situations, no matter how large they are, is to realize that there is not a lot we can do that has not already been done by forces superior (physical and metaphysical) to us, and by being transparent to those forces we can help bring about the best potential outcomes of the circumstances we are in. We don’t “do” anything anyway, all we do is muck up situations. Call it what you will: God, the Holy Spirit, Shiva, Spirit, or Krishna is the real force in action in events; occasionally we are their conduits. Thursday looks like a real peak point, along with Uranus turning retrograde that day with liberating, status quo breaking power; unexpected developments or outcomes to difficult situations may come about. Ideas pertaining to the commonality of groups of people and nations, how individuals support the whole, and how society is best structured could be prominent. Intolerance of limiting or restricting conditions could flare; and innovations and new ideas may electrify people’s minds. For day by day detail on this week astrologically go here.... |

some very spiritual ones, I find still seem to regard problems as a thing to be beaten with a sword, or something you resolve by being "stronger". But not all problems are solved with a sword, or contest of strength.
