OVERVIEW: This week the configurations of note are on Wed, Nov 19 and the beginning of the following week, Monday, Nov 24. I’m coming out of the gate a little bit late this week, but I can give you the highlights for the rest of this week and early into the next.
On Wednesday then Mars and Saturn form a quintile (seventy two degrees), which is an aspect which is not as I've noticed in workouts of the past, when there was an aspect between Mars and Saturn I felt stronger and was able to lift more weights better, etc. Mars and Saturn are first class malefics though, so the potential for crisis, accidents, and injuries are there. So keep your wits about you, warm up before starting out, and remember that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure Then on Monday Mars semisquares Jupiter, even though it is a "minor" aspect it is of the eighth-harmonic family of aspects (opposition, square, semisquare, sesquiquadrate) that comes on so dramatically and seems to resonate with so many of our fears and anxieties, but which ideally lights a fire under us to make changes in life. So the semisquare of Mars and Jupiter produces an impulsive, overzealous action which usually seems to be a compensation for not having to fuss over the necessary details of life, or take a more humble approach to things. This encapsulates the semi pie in the sky philosophy of "all you need is enthusiasm to achieve your goals". Generally there is a lot of bluster under this astrology, but little in the way of real acheivements. Sometimes, however, and excess burst of enthusiasm is just what we need to push a lot of hard work into a success. I would be remiss to not mention the trine between Jupiter and Saturn this week Friday, Nov 21, and that produces delays and slows down progress, but at the same time it tempers our enthusiasm with realism which brings about a more long-lasting success. So if you feel results are "discouraging", don't give up, the universe is hard at work at molding you into a more permanently successful person. For those of us who are already hard working, a uniquely balanced and ethically superior type of approach is forming in us. DAY BY DAY (abbreviated):

intense as a square (ninety degrees) but at the same time more penetrating, sharp and offering more opportunity for a creative solution.
