Pluto's Finger On the Nuclear Trigger This Week

Over this coming weekend there will be a truly amazing set of astrological events occurring.  This is the kind of celestial phenomena that usually coincides with human intensity that both coincides and brings on crisis.

On Friday, April 3, 2009, Mars makes a quintile to Pluto; on the following day Pluto then turns retrograde while  Mars simultaneously opposes Saturn; and then on Sunday, the 5th (my birthday) the Sun quincunxes Saturn.  If we take a look at these planets together they form a tight fifth harmonic three-way aspect with each other. 

Pluto in action causes our feeling, actions, and thoughts to go nuclear; that is, energies take on such depth and power as to cause a literal transformation of the energy.  Transformation here is not just a surface rearrangement, but a fundamental, irrevocable altering of the subject at hand.  Metaphysically transformation is referred to by the idea of death; the subject dies in one form and is reborn in another.  Death is not an end, but only a change....

Jupiter and Pluto: George Lucas Meets Donald Trump

This week certainly produces an interesting situation as Jupiter will be aspecting Pluto, think of it as Zeus calls up Hades (the orginal Greek name for the Roman Pluto) and they set a date to discuss a potential business partnership.  Zeus wants loud music, bright lights and a lot of thunder and lightning; but Hades is more interested cornering the market and crushing the competition.  Sort of like Donald Trump meets George Lucas, a lot of stuff could come out and it may not last long, but it should make lots of dough.
