The announcement of the assassination of Osama bin Laden was marked by a few significant astrological corroborations.

First of all it should be mentioned that bin Laden has been a tool of US intelligence ever since the days of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.   He was trained to organize the mujahideen resistance, which later evolved into the Taliban.  He was the organizer behind Al Qaeda, while under that same US supervision.  He has also been connected to the Bush family through business associations.

This is not the place to discuss the real question of whether Osama bin Laden was a true enemy of the US, or if he really was a covert asset set in place to help inaugurate a very long US military occupation of the Middle East and to make inroads into the resource-rich areas of Central Asia.  That information however is readily available through Internet searches.

The announcement by the US of his killing coincided exactly with the semisquare of Mercury to Neptune, denoting messages potentially of a deceptive or self-deceived nature.  That is, the deliverers of such messages could have been knowingly deceptive, or they could have been self-deceived as to what their content really was about.

Secondly, the announcement coincided with the conjunction of Mars to Jupiter on the cusp of sidereal Aries.  This is a potent, impetuous, and many times philosophically-biased combination of planets, where the truth of the issue is less important than to what directions the issue may be exploited for the most expedient gain.

Indeed, instead of an end to the wars in the Middle East, the "successful" assassination is put in the light as a validation of present US military policy and chosen by the powers that be as the green light to pursue the matter to its conclusion.  The conclusion here is the "end of terrorism" which is very vague and open-ended in its connotations.

I definitely could go on and on (and if you follow me on Facebook I definitely will be), but suffice to say, the stars reflected a situation that could be very biased, deceptive, and aggressive in its characteristics.  In fact bin Laden has been reported dead a number of times in the nine-plus years since the attacks on September 11, 2001, and he could have been dead a long time already.   However, now it could be expedient that he be officially "killed" now, especially with Obama so low in the polls, and he can gain a second wind reputation-wise as a strong president.

Nevertheless, the military-industrial-financial complex that basically own and rules the US government are seemingly on a new, self-invigorated track.  And so history rolls on....

Libyan Attacks, Deliberate Deceptions and Adventures, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune

Looking at the stars for the next couple of weeks, one can see a rather taxing period ahead.  Darker, potentially subversive elements will be playing out, playing upon our philosophies and attitudes.  Saturn and Neptune will be making hard aspects to Jupiter, which can have the effect of dampening and dissipating Jupiter’s sense of boundless optimism.

Far be it for me to say this is a bad thing at all, we can always use a healthy dose of realism that Saturn delivers.  We can always use Neptune’s ability to draw out our tendencies to let our selves be deluded or deceived.  One can almost picture a coming back to reality with a thud, but not losing entirely our sense of possibilities for good.

On the other end of the spectrum I am not seeing very good things because this period also coincides with a particularly nasty development in world affairs, namely a new US war, in Libya.  This war solemnly embarked upon with a sense of righteous honor, is actually so transparently deceitful with the shadowy legal premises of the UN resolution 1973, the flimsy excuse that leader Gaddafi is a tyrant and must be taken out, and the questionable existence of a real “freedom force” within Libya (CIA backed Muslim fundamentalists) that I think Obama should just come straight out and say: “Hey, Libya has a lot of oil and we want it, so we’re moving in.”

However governments need a pretext and some semblance of justification in order to pull off their actions, so the US military-intelligence-industrial complex goes to great pains (Saturn) to construct a fabricated enemy (Neptune), who is namely Muammar Gaddafi.  The same thing happened in Iraq in 2003, and the straw man was Saddam Hussein.

Then they pull the trigger.  After a fierce and one-sided assault,  the enemy is crushed and the new regime is installed with lots of new shiny infrastructure built to the expense of the tax payers and a very hefty profit to the contractors (who also by the way many times occupy positions of power in government.)  Sad, but true.

Then you need to amplification of the justifications, and that is where Jupiter now comes in, inflating the hyperbole, exaggerations and lies, and then making everyone believe them because the energy of the rationale is so galvanizing with a sense of self-righteousness.

The “thud” part I mentioned a couple paragraphs above may not manifest until after the peaking of the fabricated-delusion-crusade I am talking about with the configuration between Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune, which will be occurring in stages this coming week.

This is definitely not a pretty picture I am painting, but the virtue I am aiming for is in the realism. However I also know that many people will be taking new initiatives after some hard lessons recently learned; those will be the people taking the high road with Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune here.

To employ a little astrological algebra: engineered (Saturn) + deception (Neptune) + adventurism (Jupiter) = large scale initiatives that may get very sticky down the road, when the truth comes out.

I’ll try to be a little positive now: determined (Saturn) + subtle (Neptune) + magical (Jupiter) = selfless endeavors that can create a more balanced sense of progress.

Supermoon March 19, Cumulative Effects of Astrology Over the Past Two Years

I wanted to take the opportunity to catch up on Star World News with all the recent world developments, including the situations in Japan, Madison, WI, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and other regions in North Africa.  I’ll also be covering the astrology of the last few years and the supermoon on March 19 this week, and I want to do this in as concise a way as possible.   Basically we have just gone through a very intense series of astrological stressor factors over the last two years, and their repercussions will take years to fully manifest themselves, details follow.

Note: I use sidereal zodiacal positions, the sign positions may appear differently from other astrology sites  Sidereal positions have the benefit of being more astronomically accurate, and work better for event predictions.

If we look at the latest super-configuration of outer planets beginning in 2008 and then concluding in the first few days of 2011, you will see an actual “reflection” in the heavens of what is happening in the earth.  I covered these configurations in detail in the ebook Mounting Challenges.  I am not an economist, but I try to understand the big picture.

2008 Saturn Opposes Uranus

Firstly, there was the 2008 opposition of Saturn and Uranus that coincided with the beginnings of the crash of the US economy with the subprime mortgage crisis and the general efforts to kill our economy with most manufacturing going overseas to the third world and China, yearly trillion dollar military expenditures by the US in wars and military occupations, various forms of supra-monetary-inflation occurring by the FED, multi-trillion dollar bank bailouts which ended up being hoarded by the banks, and the derivatives investment scams reaching into the quadrillion dollar level.

2008 also coincided with the election of Barak Obama under very populist Democratic themes, but which turned out to be even more corporatist-globalist oriented than the previous George Bush Administration and has only fully entrenched the US into a very bad situation.

Saturn and Uranus in this case reflected the growing chasm between authoritarian rule of the financial-corporate-banking class and their bought and paid-for political representatives in Congress and the White House, and a growing movement of grass roots groups around themes of freedom with Ron Paul, and which morphed into the “tea parties” (who unfortunately became co-opted by mainstream Republican-conservative interests and agendas.)

Even though the authoritarians succeeded, there was a lot of excitement and debate.  The whole story hasn’t yet been told, especially with the “revolt” of workers such as which is occurring in Madison, Wisconsin right now, who may embody the “left wing” version of what Ron Paul embodied.

2009

Shift to 2009 with the various failed and succeeded coups in Georgia, the Ukraine, and Iran, pushed along by the US CIA through various front non-governmental-organizations such as the Endowment for Democracy, trying to start a “wave” of revolution and pave the way for more US-friendly rulers in those areas.  These events didn’t occur exactly in 2009, the trends are broad enough to be able to include them together.

Understand that revolutions occur when the contrast between freedom (represented by Uranus) and control (represented by Saturn) is at it’s highest, and you are always certain to find a little “help” with the process behind the scenes by powerful forces who prefer to keep a low profile, but who are interested in molding social forces to their own designs.

Summer 2010, Powerful Grand Square

The next phase of this super-configuration occurred in the summer of 2010, when Jupiter, Pluto, and the Nodes entered into the picture, creating what is called a grand square configuration.  It was during this time that the war-waging, dollar-devaluing, and plundering was continuing with such initiatives as the health care “reform”, which turned out to be nothing more than another bailout, this time to the major insurance companies.  War fronts expanded into Afghanistan and Pakistan.

We might also imagine a lot of cloak and dagger occurring behind the scenes in key areas of the world, which are now in political turmoil and revolution such as with Tunisia, Egypt and Libya.  The unrest in these areas is deliberated created with austerities imposed by multi-national financial interests such as the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.  Supposedly to create a global society, but the end result is to create accumulations of power into the hands of a relatively few individuals, with vast numbers of people left in conditions of poverty.

Basically it was during this time that we can surmise that there was a “stirring of the pot” going on, through all these activities, seen and unseen.  Austerities also brought people out into the streets in Greece and Europe, as people were finding out their pensions were being stolen and they had to start to work more for less.

January 2001 Solar Eclipse

The final leg of this super-configuration (as I am calling it) occurred on January 4, 2011 with a powerful eclipse of the Sun, conjunct Mars, Pluto, and the Moon’s Node at the focal point of this t-square mentioned above.  It was not too long after January’s eclipse that things started to happen, and seemed to create a “wave” of unrest in regions of the world.  These configurations are extremely rare; there has never been a similar situation to my knowledge in the last several hundred years or possibly more

It is my contention that there was a building up of energy that was occurring during the phases of this super-configuration that would have its final release with the eclipse of January 2011.  Imagine if you will the ripples created when you throw a rock into a pond; you have the initial point of entry (as with the actual dates of the configurations occurred) but the effects move outward in waves for sometime after that, going quite far.

If you accept my analogy, we are still in the epicenter of this initial release, and its effects are going to be seen for a long, long time.  Indeed it makes sense now with austerities coming to the domestic US, with government simply overruling the wishes of the people.  The state governments (elected by the very financial agencies they are now protecting) claim this is because of “necessity” and that the people and their unions shouldn’t be so “greedy”; all the while producing the greatest corporate welfare the world has ever known, bailing out the very criminals who created the depression in the first place, and continuing wars of aggression that are destroying lives and infrastructure on a vast scale in other parts of the world, and destroying any vestige of respect for the US itself in the eyes of the world.

Earthquakes

You could almost say that this earthquake and tsunami in Japan was “planned” also, because it makes no sense to build a nuclear power plant on a fault line and at sea level where the resulting tsunami could take it out and cause a nuclear catastrophe as is taking place.  It is either the height of design failure or some kind of deliberate time-bomb.  I won’t go deeply into that, but earthquakes can be a man-made phenomenon as well, and there has been some correlations attempted with HAARP activity just prior to the series of earthquakes.

Natural or not, and earthquake is a shifting of the earth’s plates.  The Earth itself in an organic living system, which responds to stimuli and energy patterns of the people over a long period of time.  If pressures build over a long time, which could be focalized and amplified by larger astrological patterns, there could be a critical release of tension.

Supermoon

One time of near-term focalizing and amplifying phenomena could be the supermoon of March 19, which apparently is the closest one to Earth in more than a few years.

What is a supermoon?  A supermoon is when the Sun, Earth and Moon are in extremely close alignment such as with a new or full moon, and the Moon is at perigee, or closest approach to the Earth.  This particular alignment of the supermoon could contribute to the release of the energy of the earthquake, aided abetted by the previous year’s build up of larger patterns already written about above.

Even though the supermoon will occur a week after the earthquakes, it has a strong correlation.  Causality seems to get reversed or mixed up in astrology sometimes.

Summing It All Up

I see things as a cumulatively building effect with astrological configurations in the world; and with this just-ending super-configuration, it is immediately behind us and its effects will manifest for some time to come.  As to how they will actually manifest…..well, that is YOUR opportunity to contribute to things happening in the way that you think is best.

Don’t be lazy, fearful, or confused.  Take action yourself.  Your efforts are like ripples in the pond as well, with very far-reaching effects.  I won’t go into a long-winded monologue about morality and rugged individualism, but I will say that the key to the future is a sustained spiritual energetics that will catapult you and then society at large eventually into a new age of progress and happiness.

It’s not hard, it doesn’t require “work” in the sense that we would normally think, and it is a state of mind and spirituality of our auras that radiates out into the world with marvelous transformative effect.   YOU ARE the key.

The next major configuration takes place a good while from now, the year 2020 to be exact.  We’ve got our work cut out for us now; we’ll cross THAT bridge in the future when we get to it.

Also Charley Sheen’s Continuing Adventures, and The Best Kind of Foresight

As I had written about in 2009 and published in the ebook Mounting Challenges, January 2011 looked to be a culmination of the previous two year’s astrological formations, which we can see now in what looks like a dominos effect with riots in Middle Eastern nations: Tunisia, Egypt, and possibly Jordan.

Events like these just don’t happen on the spur of the moment, a long-term series of economic factor are at work, namely austerities imposed by international financial authorities (the World Bank and IMF), along with the work on NGO’s (non-governmental organizations) such as the National Endowment for Democracy, quasi-intelligence fronts such as Twitter and Facebook, and speculation on food commodities, among others; and then of course karmic cycles as pointed to in astrology.

It is very interesting to see that the tumult in Egypt precisely coincided with Saturn’s turning retrograde.  Saturn has to do with the acute feeling of pain and suffering, that boils over into rage at times; and it would also correlate with harsh countermeasures imposed by authorities in response such as riot squads, water cannons, shooting of rioters, and shutting down the Internet, which have occurred in recent days.

You can never point the finger at one singular cause of world events, in my belief that they are both natural and synthetic; i.e. natural tides of energy and sentiment in conjunction with deliberate actions taken by various agencies with certain ends in mind.  Some people may think that my brand of thinking here is unnecessarily conspiratorial or even paranoid; but rest assured, I do my research.  I try to fall in the middle of every opinion and source that I read, and I try to take in the whole spectrum.

You could also say that Saturn’s recent change of direction sparked off emotional landmines in the psyche of Charley Sheen, which resulted in his latest pornstar-booze-cocaine binge this week.  Poor guy, some people just don’t handle stress very well.

To capsulize: events transpiring now of a global transformative nature such as the dominos effect in the Middle East, weather swings and earth changes, and increasingly harsh economic and authoritarian interventions, we have to look to the following events astrologically:

• The opposition of Saturn and Uranus peaking in autumn 2008
• The transiting t-square of Jupiter and Uranus opposing Saturn, and both square to Pluto and the Nodes of the summer of 2010
• The powerful solar eclipse of January 4, 2011, which added the influence of the Sun, Mercury, and Mars to Pluto and Nodes mentioned above.

You could look at:

• the sweeping into power of the Obama Administration (really just another face on the neo-con, corporatist regime that operated behind George W. Bush)
• the escalation of wars in the Middle East into Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia
• the multi-trillion dollar banking bailouts
• landmark health care legislation
• Operation Cast Lead
• the Israeli flotilla attack
• escalating tensions with North Korea
• threats against the dollar by the Chinese government
• the lifting of restrictions against corporate political donations
• “quantitative easing” by the FED
• The TSA, emerging police state, and government surveillance
• terrorist attacks (as they are covertly allowed to happen or are instigated)
• the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabriela Giffords, and the consequences of that
• the Davos conference recommending even heavier austerities for the populations
• and a host of other pivotal world developments;

….all of these are direct manifestations of the astrology of our time.

So I think a little self promotion is due here.  I’ve heard a lot of predictions over the past five or so years, from the Webbots, to earthquake predictors, to Gerald Celente, to Webster Tarpley, to Steve Quaile, to Alex Jones, and not a few others.  Some have had good hits, most not so good.

But as far as I can see, none of them have been any better than the alternative tools I used, which was major aspects between the outer planets and eclipses, and some type of balanced view of current events.  As far as I can tell, by the astrology, we are now in the peak of the energies of cosmic stimulation, so emotions are heightened.

It’s my opinion also that some of the aforementioned predictors should start learning some of the arts of astrology.

The effects of eclipses are said to be in effect from a month to 6 months, or even more.  As I endeavored to explain it in my book; this is a multi-layered energetic process going on, and the full effects of it probably will not fully manifest for some months and years to come.  Make no mistake about though, we are at the pivot point in history, January 2011.  Maybe something more will take place in 2012, but I can tell you that the “seeding” of what appears in that year has been ongoing for some years already.

Anyone who claims to have some sort of secret window into the future, is engaged in my mind in a little sort of self-delusion.  It creates a little allure around the ego that has some sort of “magic” about him or her.  (and take this from someone who publishes predictions on a weekly basis)

What is really important, is the here and now, how the stars or whatever modality you prefer, illuminates the present, and may point to certain outcomes.  But the best foresight, is always best with a heavy foundation of hindsight.
